Baritone  low G to  Tenor high B and then falsetto to D flat . Two and a third octaves.

Or Joe Cocker 2.6 Octaves ....then Freddy Mercury, 3 Octaves.

I can take or leave the Beatles but I agree, Paul McCartney does have a very good vocal range.

I was wanting to see how many pop singers had operatic voice ranges, but I'm sorry, I don't like Sting at all, but being brought up with Elvis and Roy Orbison, that shouldn't be a surprise.

This is brilliant.

I couldn't believe this when I first heard it.

I think she has one of the best voices , love to listen to her . Especially the live performances.

You don't have to like him. You don't have to like his music. His vocal range is definitely very good.

Surprisingly,  Sarah Brightman is only a 3 octave range.

Off topic, in terms of shattering glass with the human voice,  Caruso was allegedly able to do this, but there is no actual proof.

HoweverJamie Vendera, a vocal coach proved it possible on Mythbusters.
