Featured Replies

Dear fellow members,

Has anyone experiance  with applying  for this visa based on visiting thai family?

What kind of document do I need to upload for this question number 8 (see attachment)?

should this be my passport or maybe the one of my thai wife?

thanks for the advise.

As is stated, if you are a national of the country in which the  application is submitted, nothing needs to be shown there.

Wrong - despite it seeming to be an optional question you cannot proceed without uploading something to this box. As DrJack54 stated, upload a further copy of your passport.

You are correct. Thanks for the correction, I had called the Thai embassy in LA last Monday and was given the wrong information. I didn't realize that they were wrong until I tried to proceed.

just did this visa, lots of questionable questions. So much so, i sometimes put in paperwork that was not needed just to make sure. For this one i put in my passport, driving licence and a utility bill with my address on it.

The good news is, once submitted  it it only took 2 days to be approved,

Exactly this - you cannot skip any boxes. On my TR application I uploaded my last UK tax demand in one of the boxes just to keep them happy!

And yes, very quick processing at the moment.

If you are NOT a national of the country in which you are making this application you need to upload a copy of the document or card issued to you by that country evidencing that you are legally resident there. If it's a card both front and back.
