Anyone who is anti-dictatorship is anti-fascist by another name.  Good to hear you're standing up to fascism!

7 years or more jail time for the foot soldier. Wonder how many years for the chief instigator. More please.

The one eyed coward oath keeper trial has started. Interesting to see what that <deleted> gets

In his defense, he state that he was following legal orders from the then President. That's a lot to unpack. Those (I think 3) who plead guilty have entered into a plead deal and will cooperate with sibstantial cooperation. The noose is tightening for the chief instigator/s.

So true. A lot of those idiots who were arrested have been doing deals with FBI grassing up their "bosses"

never entered the Capitol but helped ignite the crowd “into an unstoppable force”

Now where did that idea come from? Did he just wake up one day and that was what he wanted?

Or was there maybe someone else who is responsible for all those people who stormed the Capitol?

When will that guy go to jail?

P.S.: He is not difficult to find. In fact, he is incapable of shutting his big mouth. Arrest him now!

Justice. Dictatorship style.

"Say what you will about whether the United States is a true democracy, the threat of jailing a political opponent is still not something done in a democratic system.

It is, however, something done by the leaders of dictatorial states around the globe"

He was armed with a handgun when he attacked the Capitol in an attempt to prevent the certification of the election result.

Away with you and your ‘Dictatorship’ nonsense.

He’s lucky he wasn’t shot dead on the day, like he deserved to be.

What about his Constitutional right to bear arms and it also stated that he didn't enter the Capitol, so couldn't personnaly have attacked it.

Now I don't really care if he got 7 or 70 years as most of these people are 2 cans short of a six pack.

There is no ‘Constitutional right to bear arms in the execution of a crime’.

The driver of the get away car still gets convicted of bank robbery even though he didn’t enter the bank.

Did he break the law or not. Sentence is just and not political. He led an insurrection and not a simple protest.

Looks like Trump will be getting thrown under the bus by his friends with the Oath Keepers

Trump's legal troubles mount as Oath Keepers plan to throw him under the bus at sedition trial (msn.com)

Unable to deny that they were up to their necks in seditious conspiring, the five Oath Keepers are going to trial with a novel defense: Blaming Trump for telling them to do it.

"They intend to tell the jury that when armed teams of Oath Keepers made plans to rush into Washington from Virginia on Jan. 6, 2021, they believed they would be following legal orders from the president himself," the New York Times reports. Because they claim to have been acting on orders from Trump, the defendants plan to argue they believed the insurrection was legal.

It's going to be a pretty weak argument unless they've got some evidence that so far hasn't been revealed. I personaly have no doubt that Trump was delighted by the insurrection and intended to incite it, but there just isn't enough there to support the Oath Keepers claims. Trump played them as he has played the entire MAGA movement.

he was not jailed for his political beliefs but for his actions. if he hadn't done what he did he would be a free man.

It's a recurrent pattern among MAGA folks. They are told they must back their assertions by linking sources, so they tend to link whatever they find by just reading the title, ????

If someone distrusts a post they demand a link to back it up.  In most cases this is dumb -- if you don't trust someone why would you trust their link?  I think it is the weak person's way of attempting control.  If you don't trust what some posted then do your own search!

"The truth is in the details" the old saying goes.  MAGA is not about details, it's about the words of the Orange One, the man who speaks in hyperbole and needs to flush the toilet 15 times.
