Hello,

Before it was possible to leave Thailand by plane one day after the end of your visa, without paying 500 bahts. For example, if your visa was ending on October 10, you could leave on October 11 without paying any fee.

 

Is this still the case ?

If leaving from either airport in Bangkok you will not be fined for one day of overstay.

Just in case, we'll have a whip round for you mate - I'm sure we could muster up 500 baht for you between us.
