My opinion for what is worth is that he should be reinstated as PM as be has brought peace and stability to Thailand especially as the caretaker PM has not really proved himself as being an experienced and capable leader.

Actually from an opposition point of view it is probably better the CC vote with Prayuth. That will drive the narrative and discord far more towards the votes next year than changing now. Many Thais have short memories and come 6 months down the line, many may have tempered views if the PPRP managed to do a few things to improve their image. Having him there or not make zero difference to the election schedule, so its almost worth keeping him from an opposition point of view.

So that means he can "vacate the office", during which he remains PM, and take 10 years to find a suitable (acceptable to him) replacement.
