However, the court determined that his premiership commenced in 2017 – the year the present Constitution was promulgated, meaning that if Prayut is re-elected as prime minister after the next general elections, he could serve for only two more years. Prayut is back in PM office on Oct, 1 2022 and continue the PM work in the next 7 months, including chairing APEC Thailand in November 2022. Come May 2023 Thailand Election and Bye Bye to Prayut.
