Ko Samui - Moving personal effects

Featured Replies

Hi

We have maybe 70-100kg of personal effects, the most awkward being a Flat screen TV.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.   Kerry are not shipping to K Samui at the moment.

Thanks

Post Office.

Other couriers like Flash, Ninjavan, Best

Going to move this to Koh Samui forum as members there may have better info.

DHL - which the locals prefer - or Ninja might be good choices, if Kerry don't move at the moment; strange, Kerry is huge on Samui.

Thumbs up for the post office too. At the moment Kerry may handle larger dimensions cheaper, but probably the OP is not shipping 75 in TV.

Also if near Pattaya check if is not cheaper to use the new ferry service, probably there are no extra charges for bigger baggage for the passengers. You can also buy a motorbike near Pattaya if cheaper and come with the ferry. However not sure yet whether the ferry service is on regular schedule now????

Would help to know where moving from, but if you are in Thailand have you considered renting a pickup or van on a one way basis?
