Yes.  I believe it is the original owner.  I seem to recall his name is Chris?  Was there last week for Salmon BBQ(good food for 139 Baht-on Saturdays).

    I think Rudi was the guy. He would come out and greet customers. I'm surprised he is still there as I was there many years ago.

     

    I'm not sure why I was curious about him. I just remember chatting with him once and wondered what happened to him. ????‍♂️

    Met him in Makros Hang Dong about 2 weeks ago...Still as large as life. I mentioned that I liked his beer prices...very competitive. Tend to drop into the bar only about once a month Fri/Sat nights when staying over in town...sanuk.

    Used to be fish and chips for 150 baht on  Friday not so long ago

    Good to hear Ruddi still there, not been to cm for 10 years now but planning a visit soon. Top guy

    He used to come and ask me whether the food was OK...............just as I'd taken a big bite out the food , happened numerous times for it to be a coincidence .

      He walked in once and took his hat and jacket off and was dripping in sweat after a long bike ride and shaking the sweat off a few feet away from me as I was eating

    I was there Saturday.  Salmon BBQ with baked potato, corn and a salad for 149 Baht.  The food was very good and girls were great as always(Jaa, Air and Remy).

    Best "Bang for the Buck" in CM for sure! Daily specials and amazing prices on cheese and cold cuts. Rudi still one of the most generous owners around. Happy to patronize them.

    Rudy is still there . I enjoy eating there the foods always good and the staff as well. Sunday night buffet is the best .

    He must be getting pretty old by now. 70’s probably.
