BLACKJACK2 Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Hi, I am going to apply for a visit visa for my wife, I am currently working in the UK and she is in Thailand. If I write a sponsorship letter for her would it be OK to scan and email it or would they want the original letter. Thanks.
Upnotover Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 As her documents are uploaded for the application (either by herself or VFS) it ought not make any difference if it is the original or a scanned letter. Back in the old days when actual paper was submitted I/my wife did use prints from scanned documents without any problems. 1 1
hotandsticky Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Note:- It is her application not hers. Your sponsor letter (and related supporting financial papers etc) is the only contribution that you make. Yes, a scanned copy of any documents as long as they are legible - and in English.
