2baht Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Well, if you are going to nod off, why not do it approaching a level crossing when a train is coming! 1
swm59nj Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Surprised he got away with minor injuries. The car looks totally destroyed. I’m seeing the common “causes” for motor vehicle accidents in LOS are: Brake Failure, Wet Roads, Microsleep. I wouldn’t think it’s just plain unsafe driving. 1
proton Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Not that surprising when you consider the speed of 'express' trains here

There is a point to be made here and good reasons to rail against them.
rwill Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Darn. His license plate is obliterated. At least we have the train number for the upcoming draw. 1 1
sammieuk1 Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 I've seen this extreme form of trainspotting here once before ???? 2
spidermike007 Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Darwin was right. Some of us are better equipped than others, to survive in this life. This fool should be dead. He simply outwitted the grim reaper this time. I have been driving at times when I have been very tired. What does one do? Turn up the music, or stop for some coffee, or best yet, stop and take a nap. Do something. Do not ever, ever drive into a train. It is not recommended on any level. 1
