Did she give up after a week? And based on your signature, she probably needed protection more than you did ???? 1 1
Popular Post ChaiyaTH
If you want a real bodyguard, armed, gonna be at least 20-30K baht per 12 hours. I'd say pointless to have an armed one as they won't shoot anyone for you at those rates anyway. More likely that they would cheat you, if people are after you and it's worth money. So you might as well hire a random Muay Thai guy in that case and just have cash ready for issues. Edited October 31, 2022 by ChaiyaTH 1

KhunLA
I was looking over my shoulder the first month after I tossed the 1st TH wife out of the house. A death cert would certainly null & void my usufruct ????

Thingamabob
After the financial crash of 1997/8 I was deserted by Thai partners to carry the can for the aftermath/liabilities of a collapsed project. I was threatened by numerous creditors. Cutting a long story very short I negotiated 24/7 protection for several years with my local police chief in Bangkok. They did a good job, but at a high price. You may wish to give this route a try, but you will need the assistance of a reliable Thai speaker unless you yourself are fluent in Thai.

JimTripper
Does anyone know if Bangkok was named that to imply banging a cock, or is it just a coincidence it sounds like that and is missing the letter C? The name Bangkok, used commonly by foreigners, is, according to one interpretation, derived from a name that dates to the time before the city was built—the village or district (bang) of wild plums (makok). Do you also think that Thais with a last name with 'porn' in it are actors? I thought that when I just arrived.
KhunLA
Unless crossing to the west side of the river, most folks, tourists/expats, have never actually been to 'Bangkok' (yai/noi).

This really seems to me to be the best and most sensible route. High profile, possibly uniformed Any issues the cops will sort themselves out. Surprised this is even a question unless op knows nothing of Thailand.
LS24
Big Jok was high profile. Apparently he got demoted. He might want a bit of coin on the side. Might be worth reaching out to him. Edited November 11, 2022 by LS24
