Wayu Sitwichai was shot multiple times by a man driving a red car. There had been no disagreement at the event at a school in Ban Lao on Sunday night. But trouble flared in the road after. A social media campaign to get the assailant arrested started on Facebook. The assailant is the son of a former Phu Yai Ban, a village official. The victim was transferred to Nakhon Phanom hospital after treatment at Nawa district hospital.
