Kamala – A Singaporean motorbike rider has died after crashing into a truck in Kamala.

Kamala rescue workers were notified of the accident at 11:30 A.M. today (November 3rd) at a sharp curve in Kamala.

 

They arrived at the scene to find the damaged motorbike stuck in front of the truck.

Witnesses said the motorbike rider lost control and veered into the opposite lane before crashing into the truck. However, the Kamala Police are checking CCTV footage to find the exact cause of the accident and determine liability for potential legal measures against the truck driver, who wasn’t identified.

 

Unless the truck driver is a farang, I cannot see a prosecution and legal bill for the driver for driving on the correct side of the road

We passed it just after the EMS arrived, bloody mangled scene it was too. RIP mate ????????

The poor fellas body was (as the photo seems to show) under the front end of the truck. I didn't see the accident but it looked to me like the fella simply didn't take the curve/bend and drove straight under the truck.

Maybe going a tad too fast, or poor rider, went wide on the bend, and bang!

Note to self, stay on the correct side of the road.

RIP, it pays to ride slow when you are in a strange place. He might have been staring at the truck instead of looking into the curve. As they say on bikes, be careful where you stare because that's when you steer if you aren't aware.
