What promises would those be? Remember his trillion dollar infrastructure bill?  In the software industry they call that vaporware.

How about his promise of a better and cheaper alternative to Obamacare? He actually claimed in an interview that it would be ready to go in a few days? Have you spotted it anywhere?.

When he ran, he said he thought taxes on the wealthy were too high. Instead he reduced taxes on them. And especially on himself given the huge tax break given to the real estate industry in his bill.

He promised to support authorizing Medicare to negotiate drug prices. He reversed himself on that one in the interval between the election and the inauguration.

It is the 2nd such false statement made this morning concerning the GOP having implemented some sort of Christian Sharia law for the USA - the other concerning the Supreme court using some sort of Christian law that supersedes the constitution. There was a recent case in Miami where a school wanted to cover LGBT history in a 12th grade class.

It was denied by the school board in response to fear of financial consequences from the fascist DeSantis law.

It's hard to understand why Lake is doing this.  Elections in AZ are largely run by Republicans.  There were Republicans on the same ticket in AZ who won.  She has zero chance of changing the outcome.  Maybe she thinks that by refusing to accept defeat she won't be labelled a loser.  That didn't work out too well for another loser she's emulating.

It's hard to imagine Trump choosing Lake as his running mate.  She appeals to the same people who supports Trump already.  He gains nothing having her on the ticket.  On top of that, she's never won anything.  But Trump is known to adore people who kiss his a-- and lies on his behalf.  So who knows, he might just do it.  It's a dumb move, so it's certainly within the realm of possibility.

I'm not saying it can't happen.  I'm just saying it would be a dumb move.  If he wants a woman on the ticket, there are plenty of others who'd make more sense.  Kristi Noem, Nikki Haley, Elise Stefanik, etc.
