Apparently they didn't vote for him. The reason for the very high turnout among the young was Trump revulsion. This killed the red wave which would otherwise have been inevitable.

That link also shows left wing bias so the 51.8% Trump got was probably on the low side. He might be 60%.

It's funny. When Musk took over, his supporters were incensed about bots. Now that Musk is in charge, for them bots are no longer an issue.

But they are constructed to reflect the general population within a margin of error. If polling was as simple as you think it is, then pollsters could just invite people to register their opinion. You take no account of motivation. And as noted above, you also take no account of bots.

Even with random sampling, people in the population have unequal probabilities of inclusion in the survey.
