After the meeting Trump will bad mouth Putin - again - and have a temper tantrum that "Putin refuses to do what I tell him to do and keeps making up terms," even though Putin iterated the terms for the cession of the conflict on June 14, 2024 at a speech at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Nothing has changed regarding Russian terms over the last year. Trump and the US administration just pretend they never have heard about the terms and then have a conniption fit when the Russian delegation repeats the terms that were announced over a year ago. It's all theater. So after the meeting Trump will huff and puff and yell and scream, then threaten Russia - again - and then threaten them some more, and threaten any country conducting trade with Russia (except for itself because the US need uranium hexafloride and fertilizers worse than Russia needs to sell them to the US. Then Trump will bomb Iran again as Iran is a good whipping boy. The Russian SMO doesn't end until the AFU surrenders unconditionally which will eventually happen. -
