Kick ALL Russians out and don't let them enter Thailand!!! They are the only ones that can get rid of Putin, war criminal No 1 (of this moment).

The russians who did not flee will be killing ukrainians, so you are advocating the massacre.

Principles are more important than money (in some places, at least.....)

Tell your country to stop buying russian oil and gas then.

Maybe the Russian jets get maintenance while at Thailand. Anyone think about that.

I just hope that the war in Ukraine is over soon. That of course would mean the end of Putin's rule over Russia.

That'll do me!

Russian tourists getting the "rock star" treatment after their absence!

Hang on to your hats for when China is out of lockdown and the first flood of their tourist groups arrive...   the TAT will declare that day a PUBLIC HOLIDAY!

From what I'm reading the conscripts are just cannon fodder. They're sent to the front lines and must do as commanded or get shot by the second line of troops, who in turn will get shot by the third line if they disobey orders. I thank the new gods and the old that I'm not a young Russian male.

How many will be flying out in two weeks time?  It's bonanza time for Pattaya Immigration as young Russian men seek to avoid conscription to Putin's war.

There is no draft conscription. Just reserve call ups. The US did the same in the middle of the Iraq war.

And its not a cartoon Putins war. The world is far more complicated than that if you have the intellectual interest to look

Apart from officailly being in recession?

The sanctions were supposed to cause a currency crisis, a banking crisis and a balance of payments crisis. None of that happened. A business cycle recession isn't a big deal.

Sanctions were designed to degrade their military ability, anything else was a bonus, they are working.

Western sanctions catch up with Russia’s wartime economy

For months, Putin claimed that the “economic blitzkrieg” against Russia had failed, but Western sanctions imposed over the invasion of Ukraine are digging ever deeper into Russia’s economy, exacerbating equipment shortages for its army and hampering its ability to launch any new ground offensive or build new missiles, economists and Russian business executives said.

Even so, a November report by the Central Bank warned that Russia’s GDP would face a sharper contraction of 7.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022, after falling 4.1 percent and 4 percent compared with last year in the previous two quarters, last week, as the Russian economy officially entered into recession, Central Bank Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina told lawmakers that next year the situation could get darker still. “We really need to look at the situation very soberly and with our eyes open. Things may get worse, we understand that,” she said.

Sanctions were and always are designed to cause a currency crisis and balance of payment crisis. As seen in places like Iran and Venezuela. Which is in turn, supposed degrade the military. These kinds of sanctions are a huge expense for Europe and weren't supposed to be merely a nuisance.

Perhaps you missed all the sanctions against supplying Russia with military equipment

It was a partial mobi, it is putins war with documented war crimes

https://www.csce.gov/international-impact/events/russian-war-crimes-ukraine

and nothing complicated here its a land grad on a sovereign nation that does not want to be a russian vassal state you are more misinformed or just deliberately skewing the truth.

When US went in to Iraq it was against a violent dictator the opposite to referenced here.

Getting your asses kicked. Slava ukraine

My luk krueng son has been on holiday here in Thailand with farang friends of his from university.  They did a couple of boat tours in the southern islands.  He said that on his boat it was all farangs and a few other Asians but no Thais.  He talked with the boat crew, in Thai, about all of the tourists they are getting.  Their reply was that this group was a good group but sometimes he gets a lot of Russians and Israelis.  Apparently neither group is liked too well by them as they are very rude.

Not sure what your point is. They certainly still want these groups as they are customers, and pay the same as Svein from Oslo. Inclined to think the boat crew are somewhat like taxi drivers and hate everyone!

Shame on you Thailand and your money grubbing ways.

Thailand now lost from the west, and firmly leaning towards China. The American government now recognizes this.

For 8 years there has been no proper democratically elected government here.

Thailand is a dictatorship, masquerading as a democracy.

The more and more Thailand comes under China's sphere in influence in the future, the more western investment will withdraw from Thailand.

Which translated means, they don't throw their money around as much, hence, not liked by the Thai's.  ????

Perhaps there might be some Russian owned super yachts and private jets parked up in Thailand, with Thailand unwilling to cooperate with global authorities for seizing such assets.

and will they be reporting on the load factor for the return flights from Thailand to Russia? or are the aircraft staying here as well??

Of course the aircraft will stay here , for a service of course !!  Since most commercial aircraft leased or owned in Russia can't get the parts/service there they will just ask to get it done here and of course it's one military to another so business as usual !!   Hope those companies / banks holding the lease agreements are ready to impound any planes who have not honoured their agreements !!
