I bet the school was going full blast day after day on their PA system.....it would not have just been the noise from a few kids that drove this guy over the edge.

When I lived in the UK I had neighbours like that, especially the 2 teenage children. Rather than talk face to face they would shout from one end of the garden to the other in that twiny sort of childish voice that could be heard from 2 or 3 houses either side - "Mam,(rising up at the end), Tommy won't let me have my headphones back!" (Like a spoiled 4 or 5 year old spoiled brat) The parents were as bad for tolerating it, because they used to shout back down the garden at them. Spoiled many a peaceful lazy Sunday afternoon!

I am living with a soi behind my house and on the corner there is a ricesoup  shop. The owners are talking so loudly every day than I can hear what they are saying just if they were in my garden...Sometimes I just talk back to them and that will keep them quiet for a day or 2 but than it start again. Stupid ignorant people as they always say hollow barrels........

Never said 'terrible place', you misquoted me.  I refer to 'terrible noise pollution control measures'.  I am not sure about your English comprehension abilities, but you may wish to reread my comment. 

 

Thailand also has a lot of good qualities and I live in a quiet place with respectful neighbors. So yes, I enjoy living in Thailand. 

 

I feel sorry for Thai people who buy a place and live there but a new business opens nearby and is very noisy and disrespectful.  That is why some people go crazy and use guns.

Noise from schools or near a road or bars is always there.He should have moved if upset,complaining about schools will not work firing a gun will just make you get the police and lots of trouble.Another thai not thinking before he acts,no surprise
