HuskerDo2
"When the suspect refused to surrender and pointed the gun at himself the decision was taken to shoot him in the arm."... I find it incredible that the Thai Police have such great marksmen to hit the guy in the arm. Most police in this situation in other countries are not as skilled. They just shoot hoping to hit "something". Kudos to the police for handling the situation with no one killed.

Aussieroaming
The wild west, amazing that they don't have public lynching as well. Innocent bystanders dodging bullets flying as the muppets shoot at each other. But I am glad that the crim was stopped.

steven100
it was noted that the officer who fired is a marksman and is always called to situations of this nature. When told to do the job however he was a bit shaky after not consuming a drink for some 12 hours which resulted in the suspect only being shot in the arm. DJ54
Pay 1800 for fuel or go big and get free room and board… wouldn’t want the guy that tripped and fell backwards as my wing man…..

Exactly what I was thinking. Of course he might have been on meth. But it's unlikely someone carrying meth and a gun would be so foolish as to try and avoid a poxy gas station bill. As I read 'drugs and a gun were found in his vehicle' I thought, "Really?"

No, it's a criminal who had a very poor shot and will spend a good long time in prison bending over for "Bubba".
