Volvo XC60 Experience in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hello... There is no info on Volvo safety/reliability made in Malaysia and sold in Thailand.

Question:  If you own one or know someone who owns it, I would appreciate some feedback here including Year/Normal or Hybrid/etc info provided.

Thanks,

Juan (Retired & from Los Angeles)

My wife has a new 60. Few months old. Great car, small battery though even for a hybrid ;( I believe they are now coming with a larger battery. Had no issues so far, the 5 year free service and warranty is a bargain package tbh. The guy who came to install the charging station even sorted out some dodgy electricals in the house free of charge.

Wife's happy, hardly uses the gas for school runs etc, husband not so happy as he still pays the electric bill.

Would recommend.

Free service really you don't pay anything?  IMO it's all BS when you pay dealers price for all parts used, NISSAN (not made buy Nissan) air cleaner 1,200 baht Lazada 100 baht as with cabin filters etc.

I have a 2021 XC60 T8 Recharge.

Only complaint is there is no mobile in the car as it is not supported in Thailand. So you need to use your cell phone to connect to Spotify or whatever.

Yeah, 5 years or 150K KM, whatever comes first. And battery is 8 years or 150K

I have had the XC90 for over 2 years. Apx 40km electric range but this is now higher on new models

Also got the 5 year free maintenance package

Great car. Far better value in Thailand than overpriced Merc/BMW

most of the functions that were industry leading when the model was originally released have now been replicated by other brands

Wife's does. Data included. Not sure if it's forever or just the first year though.

OK, just checked and I have a 2020... which doesn't have mobile support for whatever reason.
