Hired gun nabbed in south - hitman was paid 35K to shoot man who double-crossed in drug deal

Region 8 police along with officers from the Phra Saeng constabulary in Surat Thani, southern Thailand, arrested a 40 year old hired gun after a murder in June.

 

Ekkachai or "EK" Maharat was named in a warrant issued on June 28th following a shooting near a drinks factory in the area on June 13th.

A .357 revolver was recovered after the suspect jumped into a klong in Bang Yang sub-district to try and escape. A Hilux pick-up was taken into evidence.

 

Ek was hired for 35,000 baht to kill Suchart or "Khai", 30, on the orders of a man called Kittipong or "Nok".

He was driving the pick-up and stopped to shoot Suchart in the left temple as the victim rode a motorcycle.

 

The deceased had allegedly double crossed his partner over a drugs deal.

 

Ek was taken away on a charge of murder with intent and weapons charges.

I'm not sure whether he should be punished for executing this "victim" or given a certificate of community service for eliminating a drug dealing scumbag. 

 

The RTP should lock them up and throw away the keys on the lot of them.
