Twitter on Thursday evening suddenly suspended several high-profile journalists who cover the platform and Elon Musk, one of the richest people in the world, who acquired the company just a few months ago.

 

Hours after the suspensions took hold, Musk faced off with one of the journalists he suspended in a Twitter Space audio discussion before an audience of more than 30,000 listeners. The suspended journalist, along with several others, found a backdoor way onto the platform through the website's audio function.

Twitter threatened with EU sanctions over journalists' ban

The EU has threatened Twitter owner Elon Musk with sanctions after several journalists covering the company had their accounts abruptly suspended.

Reporters for the New York Times, CNN and the Washington Post were among those locked out of their accounts.

Doxxing is about releasing private information. The information that Sweeney posts is public. Anyone wishing to harm Musk doesn't need Sweeney's help.

To be fair to Musk, a practice I hate to engage in, his father ran for office as a member of an anti-apartheid party. On an ethnic basis, it was the Afrikaaners who were the main supporters of apartheid. Musk's family is not Afrikaans.

The great man appears to be quite sensitive to criticism and willing to engage in censorship, after claiming he would not. It is obvious his wealth has gotten to his head and he is not wearing his power lightly or with grace. 

 

Meanwhile his share holders at Tesla are revolting, as the stock has dropped more than 60%, and he appears to have lost interest in management of the company. Never been fooled by that. Name a few billionaires who are truly decent people, and possess at least some morality. Ted Turner is one of the only ones I can think of. He is doing alot of good work with his land management, and does not seem to be the slightest bit interested in increasing his fortune, at a cost to humanity. Quite the opposite of Musk, Bezos, the Koch Brothers, Trump, and countless others.
