Phuket – A Chinese woman who is on a 1,316 day visa overstay was arrested after social media shared her story of asking for money from mostly foreigners many times at a gas station in Phuket.

A story of a foreign woman asking for money from mostly foreigners inside a gas station four times over several days on Bypass Road in Rassada went viral in social media earlier this week.

 

The Phuket Provincial Commander Major General Sermpan Sirikong told The Phuket Express yesterday (December 16th) about the incident. They have tracked down and found Ms. Fan Yang, 47, Chinese national. She was staying at a budget hotel in Kamala.

Nobody in China willing to dish out for her begging there?  She'll find out soon.

Because the 90 day reports are so successful they thought they maybe didn't need the not so smart car. More a dumb car.

She said she also asked foreigners for their bank accounts claiming she intended to pay them back later. Some foreigners wanted money back but some didn’t want anything according to her

No wonder Farang have a bad name and many cop the flak from immigration for the stupid comments on here at times.

I wonder how she survived during the Covid period with little or no tourists nor locals moving around to give her funds?

 

Unless like others, she is a professional beggar, they are very common in London UK and the USA.

I don't blame people for not wanting to go back to China. I would do the same if I were Chinese.

I'm confused.

Considering the good people on this forum constantly assure us that overstayers are harmless and contribute to Thai society, why did she have to beg for money, or worse, try to get bank account numbers?
