Jeremy Clarkson says he is 'horrified' over Meghan column

Recommended Posts

Many spew their hatered for Markel on a superficial level but noone seems to want to talk about the dark relationship the 'firm' has with the media and how manipulative that is. Aside from the theatrics, tears and daytime tv drama, this was the underlying theme of the doco.

You're right. He isn't really sorry at all, nor should he be.

When you have the audactity to mock the traditions of another country that you clearly don't understand, your ignorance and bigotry deserves to be ridiculed - so no sympathy for Markle on this one.

Nice one Jezza. ????

Yeah, right sure.

Well he stated, he hated her way much more then Fred & Rose West.

And those were killers of at least 12 young girls.

He didn't exactly say that , what he said was :

"Elsewhere in the article, Clarkson compared his hatred of Meghan with that of Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

He said: "Meghan, though, is a different story. I hate her. Not like I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. I hate her on a cellular level."

I am not too sure what cellular level means myself

As your previous paragraph makes clear.

I think what he means is "I'd like to get into her pants but I'm fat and old and I'm a gobby #@£& so I have no chance, better to pretend I hate her instead".

I am quite sure that he doesn't want to be in a sexual relationship with her, he genuinely dislikes her

Can we please stop giving this wretched, dysfunctional family oxygen?

I dont know one family that isn't in some way dysfunctional.  Their problem is that the media are all over them 24/7/365. How many of us ordinary folk would be able to cope with that kind of intrusive examination?

Which part of my post do you disagree with? Care to elaborate?

Or have you been reduced to just posting facetious, vacous comments now?

Why's that do you reckon? Because she gets more press than him?

Well no, that isn't the reason , both Clarkson and Megan are already in   relationships and because he doesn't like her at all , he wouldn't want to be in a relationship with her

While your posts deserve the type of reply you refer to, nope.

All of the above is nonsense. You don’t like that Meghan Markle has exposed behaviours that she felt to be based in prejudice, so you try to misrepresent these and deflect from them by falsely claiming that traditions are being mocked and that she is engaging in racist behaviour by discussing how she was treated.

Always best to avoid questions you have no answer to, I suppose.

No, wasn’t doing any such thing as I answered the question…

She was mocking the traditions of curtseying the Queen, calling our traditions Medieval while laughing at them. If a white British person mocked the traditions of an African culture in such a way you would call it racist, ignorant and insulting. Your double standards are there for all to see and have been well and truly exposed

She mocked nothing. And as many of the traditions do date back centuries, saying they are medieval is not inaccurate. Your final sentence here is nonsense, but typical of you.

A birthday cake? Thanks, but you're a few months late.

Sorry meant to post a coffee cup, keeps turning to a cake when I do so. No idea why.

Have you been to London lately???? About 50% of the people don't have Anglo-Saxon ancestry. It is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world.

Ironically, many of the non-whites in London are racist and/or anti-semitic. So maybe he has a point ????.

I highly doubt there is much racism in the champagne socialist, Guardian reading, gentrified areas where white people still make up the majority though.

Of course she mocked it. You are gaslighting again.

If she can't take it, she shouldn't dish it out.

That picture doesn’t back up your claim as it appears to show someone expressing personal embarrassment, which isn’t mocking as far as I’m concerned. But I can see why you and it appears many others would choose to portray it as such.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are an admirable couple.  They have exposed the racist underbelly of the nation and the misogyny that is so abundant and evident even on this forum.

I suspect the rifts in the Royal Family will heal with time, and they are likely to begin to understand the many ways they have contributed to an endemic problem of racism.  Hopefully, they will lead from the top.

What a load of nonsense!

Try and see racism in Thailand, start with the 2 tier prices!

Watch it from 1 minute on. Pay attention to Meghan's mocking and Harry's embarrassment.

If you can't see that is mocking behaviour, either you are gaslighting (most likely), or you genuinely lack the ability to interpret human behaviour, body language and responses to them.

Or I genuinely see it as expressing personal embarrassment.

PS: I’ve seen the clip elsewhere.

Edit: I grant you she doesn’t come across well in that clip (and elsewhere) but I still don’t see it as mockery.

''Everyone my age thinks the same'' he said  ????  OIY Clarkson you <deleted> no they don't

He also said he lays awake at night grinding his teeth dreaming of the day Megan is paraded through the streets naked of every town. ???? what a weirdo he is.

I feel sorry for his daughter how embarrassing to have a such a dinosaur as a dad.

His time is finished--should retire gracefully to his farm. Take P. Morgan with him...milk the cows together.

If you genuinely can't identify that behaviour as mockery, I genuinely sympathize. Emotional Intelligence can vary greatly between individuals.

As you choosing to see mockery proves.

Edit: just to be clear I like none of those involved in the current infighting within the windsor family.
