It's good to see the pendulum swing back from the Far-Left toward the center again
Europe and the UK are slipping into full-fledged totalitarianism in a way reminiscent of Orwell's 1984. People are now being throw into prisons for "Wrongthink," and "Newspeak" is the only officially condoned language. Given Trump's win and a move back to embracing US Constitutional protections, thankfully the US is going to be swinging the other direction, at least for the time being. -

True. I sometimes walk into a business and say little to nothing. Sometimes it has been postive and sometimes I have been profiled a as an a-hole Chinese guy. Can be a Catch 22. One of the ways some Americans would display their prejudice would be to ask me "Do you speak English?". Of course at the time I was in uniform because I spent 20 years as a police officer in LA. I never imagined I would experience something similar in the Land of Smiles. But it appears the Thai version is based upon ignorance and not malice. -

K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
Uk citizen staying in Bangkok. I don't think Kbank has my email address, so I'm waiting to see if I'll receive anything in the post. Either way I'll visit Kbank next week. Would be good if others give feedback after their visit to the bank.
