Popular Post ezzra
Frustrated Vladimir Putin has lost more than 105,000 soldiers and an eye-watering number of vehicles as his calamitous war continues to falter. The tyrant unleashed his troops into Ukraine on February 24, and since then he has seen an average of 30 tanks and armoured trucks destroyed each day by defenders... https://www.news.com.au/technology/innovation/military/russias-astonishing-losses-during-invasion-of-ukraine-revealed/news-story/57e68a6b639ddfdd358f7c4b2cc42122 2 1 1
Popular Post HuskerDo2
"Frustrated Vladimir Putin has lost more than 105,000 soldiers"..... if only there would be one more named Vladimir added to the list of the deceased. "since then he has seen an average of 30 tanks and armoured trucks destroyed each day by defenders"....... Despite being outmanned and with far less military equipment Ukraine is kicking some serious butt. 1

KhunLA
According to the news-blip, RU lost more than 1/2 it's initial military forces of 190k already. Yea ... that's believable. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/feb/18/russia-has-amassed-up-to-190000-troops-on-ukraine-borders-us-warns
Popular Post connda
I believe that Ukraine will succeed where Napoleon and Hitler all failed. They have the Ruskies on the run. The Russians forces are wiped out, they are out of ammo and missiles. Once the ground freezes the Ukrainian army will start it's march to Moscow once they cut through the ethnic Russia militia in the Donbass, recapture Crimea, and deal with the turncoats. It will be a Ukrainian Spring in Moscow.
KhunLA
RU is petrified ... I'm surprised RU hasn't surrendered yet & Putin hasn't resigned, allowing UA to annex all of RU for their own. You know, 'Victor's Spoils' and all ???? Do you think any of the western puppeteers want this conflict to end ? They are literally making Billions $$$ with blaming everything on the RU/UA conflict. As if it couldn't be ended tomorrow. 1

It will be a Ukrainian Spring in Moscow. I very much doubt that they will bother. The problem with winning a battle on your enemies territory is that you need troops to garrison it 24/7/365 which takes an awful lot of manpower. IMO what the Ukrainian's will be much happier with is ALL their territory and ALL their people back. In addition they will probably want all the military, including Putin, to stand trial for war crimes, and for reparations to rebuild their country. This is my opinion FWIW. They don't want or need any Russian territory 5 1

Do you really think the west wants to see a repeat of ww2 city’s bombed high inflation high fuel prices untold death and destruction on both sides mind you (every time I see a tank blown up 3 guys die) sir nobody wants that except the mad dwarf Putin the west would strongly prefer to see free trade progress towards peace to see Russia behave as a responsible state not a criminal nation I have a feeling lots of Russians feel that way as well especially if they had the facts instead of lies no sir the west doesn’t like this not one little bit it’s fiasco of epic proportions

Not really. The wealthy have an off ramp. We see that in Thailand. Those being conscripted are the poor, prisoners, those from the east, mercenaries and Chechens. Not Muskovites. While that remains the status quo, everyone that matters is happy. If he started to conscript the wealthy all hell would break loose. Many of those that fled can't really afford that for as long as it takes which may be the rest of their lives. So many are desperately seeking longer residencies and asylum anywhere. Georgia's visa policies are very generous but an understandable severe backlash is growing. Edited January 3, 2023 by Jingthing

roger101
Putin's problem was his belief in his military. They told him how good they were and he believed them. He expected the Ukraine President to cut and run. What he got was a brave principled politician who basically said bullocks. So what Putin expected was a 3 or 4 day campaign and a quick surrender. So here we are, nearly a year later, Putin is further away from his victory than he was at the start. Oh ,and by the way the Russian supporters here say that the world press are lying and the Russian press are telling the truth, and we all know that the Russian press never lies.
