On 8 on 8 in the corner pocket nope ???? damm that’s gotta hurt!

Meantime the US government has come to a standstill. They are like kindergarten children. They're getting what they want which is to blow up the government and nothing else.

This is ludicrous, I mean how long is this going to go on?

It's like with the various election recounts: we're going to keep counting the votes until the numbers say that we win.  But there's no Federal Election Commission involved here to enforce sanity.

The only miracle in sight (other than a sundry Act of God) is that a few Republicans vote Jeffries.  The howl from the right side, along with the cheers of the left, could very well cause the Capitol dome to crack.

The dems did offer to support a centrist GOP speaker for an equal share of seats on committees. I wonder what happened to that.

Boebert is trying to show continued loyalty to DT while at the same time daring to defy his directions on the vote.  She was on MSNBC last night trying to double-talk how that works; the hostess kept her cool, but her expression said it all, even gave up listening and started reading something else.

Just think, six renegade GOP-ers would truly shake Congress.  Perhaps it will bring the dawn of a second Age of Miracles.

CSPAN cameras right now show Jordan and Gaetz in a huddle, Mutt & Jeff.

Mutt and Jeff being preserved

“We’re working on it. That’s why we’re doing this,” he said.

Sounds like something a man would say to his wife when having trouble issues mustering physical enthusiasm.

And there's this

Leopards Eat Kevin McCarthy’s Face

Gotta love any article that uses the word defenestration.

Tell me how this shambles is going to govern anything, they can’t govern themselves.

The hate and division they bought into and promoted has come home to roost.

‘Decent Republicans’ are there any left and if there are, who do they get as a leader?

I actually saw this guy speaking to CNN the other day.  A rather thoughtful, articulate guy.  Oh, he's also an African-American.

That's him on the left, easy to be "articulate" when you have the biggest gun...

Like I said, it looks more like they are using the situation to impose conditions before allowing a speaker to be elected.

Agree with you there. If he gives in he'll be held hostage by them.

They don't want to govern anything. They just want to blow up the government. The freedom party want to enable the rich capitalists by gutting everything and preventing the passage of legislation which would curtail their rapacious appetite for wealth, starting with defunding the IRS and the FBI.

Elected politicians can't be sworn in till speaker elected, so government inactive.

So, yes.

I think you need to understand who the main donors for the freedom party members are.
