Very interested what the parents of the boy will say.  How the H does a 6 year old take a gun from home to school and knows how to shoot it.

My son is 8 months old and his first word was Glock.  Second words, Get me food.  Third word, NOW!!!!

Then I woke up from my nightmare and saw my wife grab my ATM and run out the door.

FML.

Well guns don't have to be in a locked cabinet in the USA + the gun culture of that place, is just out of control which there is none. The NRA seem to control the place, CHANGE YOUR CONSTITUSION !! dumbwits.

Depends, 50 states, 50 sets of rule, along with county rules.  Virginia unfortunately, does not require.

But does have laws in place to punish 'parents', anyone that allows children to gain access.  (info may be dated)

Somebody taught the boy to use the gun.  How wise was the adult who did that? What possible benefit to either boy or the adult in such teaching?  Utter stupidity all around

Don't think anyone needs to teach anyone, any age how to shoot a firearm.  Simply watching TV will do that.

Didn't see it mentioned, what was used.  A revolver, point & pull.  Semi, may be a safety involved, but certainly not hard to figure out, along with chambering a round.  6 yr old is far from stupid or incapable of figuring out the simplest things.

How to handle safely is a different story.

That's probably a typo: should read "Redneck Elementary School".

Chances are (demographic wise), wasn't a redneck.

Emphasis on 'white'

"redneck

/ˈredˌnek/

noun

DEROGATORY•INFORMAL

a working-class white person, especially a politically reactionary one from a rural area"

Solution... Arm all the teachers and other kinder garden children with guns for protection.  America hahah

Solution... Require all concealable weapons to be kept at a gun club.

What happened has nothing to do with America.  It stems from a very troubled child.  And how he got hold of a gun.  I’m sure the child didn’t purchase the gun due to some so called flaw in a gun control law in America.

Obviously, with few exceptions, it all comes down to the parenting.  Unfortunately, something went horribly wrong it seems, after I got out of High School, and parents wanted to be the children's friend, instead of teacher or disciplinarian.  After a couple generations of that, and we are where we are.

Aside from these freak stories, unless you're a gang banger, or P'iss someone off, it's highly unlikely, you'd be a victim of firearm violence.

Most people are shot by people they know, or gang bangers.  You have a better chance of winning the lottery, than getting shot by a stranger.

I'd be inclined to blame the shooters numbskull parents rather than the constitution. I hope they get serious jail time, but I bet they won't. That part of the US is a bit of a tinderbox.
