ubonr1971
I had them a year or 2 ago and was a right pain in the a%s Stage one was extreme itch and I started using a cream from the pharmacy. Then switched to a new cream and a large round lump has appeared. Last time I went to a private hospital the dr talked me into a procedure where he cut that big round lump and it was extremely painful and if I remember correctly didnt work. It came back. After months it all disappeared. Any advice on this?

Popular Post Microwave
I've dealt with hemorrhoids for decades. You'll want to have a colonoscopy to see if there's anything serious with your colon. In the meantime buy some Daflon 500 mg and/or its Thai generic called Dafomin 500 mg. Both are commonly available in pharmacies throughout Thailand. Regular exercise such as jogging also helps to make hemorrhoids go away and can help in preventing them to return. When I first experienced hemorrhoids 30 + years ago the doctor I saw in Bangkok suggested Daflon 500 mg and it cleared them up completely. Dafomin 500 mg is cheaper though and works just as well as Daflon 500 mg. You'll be fine!
Popular Post Celsius
It's probably hemorrhoids. There is a small tube of cream they sell at the pharmacy that works exactly like Preparation H and it works well. Edit Hold that thought....I just remembered I keep emergency supplies in the fridge. I keep it close to butter, so don't ask for toast if you come and visit Edited January 10, 2023 by Celsius

Tried injections, banders bands and most creams, and ice treatments as well sticks you could refreeze and did not thaw out like ice. One thing I tried was apple cider vinegar that shrank external ones but can irritate skin as well. Drinking plenty of water and fibre helps prevent. Warm salt baths is good. Microwave
Glad I could help! Daflon/Dafomin taken 2 pills/3x per day clears them up immediately. Afterwards take the pills as needed. Drinking a lot of water, taking fiber pills and warm salt baths are also excellent suggestions!

riclag
I assume its a external .Dont wipe your butt and use the bum gun to clean up after you do your business. After just dab up the area with tissue to absorb any remaining water on your butt. I had a Dr give me this tip many years ago. Also check your diet , you may or may not be eating certain foods that give rise to your roid issues. just a thought.

On day 3 there was improvement and now day 5 I notice blood in the toilet water after having a poo. Should I be concerned about this? What type of dr can one see at a private hospital? The hemorrhoids can certainly explain blood assuming it was nto large amount. You would see a colorectal specialist at a hospital, where in Thailand are you? There are a variety of different treatments possible for hemorrhoids, it depends on whether internal or external, whether infected etc etc.

talahtnut
For a quick relief, sit on an ice pack for as long as you can and repeat to reduce the inflammation. Comsume plenty of liquids, fruit, and vegetables to ease bowel moves.

This is what made the biggest difference to mine (had them since my late 20's): Make changes to your diet To make your poo softer and easier to pass: drink plenty of fluids and avoid alcohol increase the fibre in your diet add some wheat bran, oats or linseed to your diet When I lessen the fibre (as tends to happen when I am in Thailand) they reappear and, worst case, a lot of blood. I have regular colonoscopys and am part of the UK bowel cancer monitoring scheme (as a result of my age) so I can be confident that it hasn't been that so far. My elder brother has had a life of misery with of them......perhaps because he steadfastly refused, and still refuses, to change his diet! Mark Nothing
My hemorrhoids used to originate from uncomfortable seating and wiping too vigourously after a bowel movement. Stress too. Like sitting on a longhaul airplane and visiting family for a couple of weeks. Get comfortable seating for your home. I have Roho inflatable seat cushions for my armchair and computer chair. Airplane pilots use them. And use the bum gun. Use toilet tissue very gently. Carry your own soft tissue to avoid using the harsh, caustic tissues in most establishments. This has eleviated most of the problem. But when hemorrhoids do arise once or twice a year I apply a handful of urine to the affected area and the pain and bumps go away. Within a day. Total non issue now. Before it was weeks of discomfort, bleeding on tissue and underwear and pain.
