Naew Na reported on a well-known snake with a protuberance coming out of its head that they said made it resemble the King of the Snakes or Naga of folklore.

 

It has been somehwat of a hero to gamblers after providing lottery wins.

 

 

It has been kept at a shrine in Ban Dung, Udon Thani, NE Thailand.

 

It was sick with mouth wide open and very thin.

 

 

The animal has become something of a tourist attraction, too.

 

It may have been hurt by another animal such as a gecko or eaten something poisonous.

 

It was taken away to the vets as the lottery hopefuls hoped for further riches in the next draw courtesy of the snake. 

 

They wished the serpent a swift recovery.

I would be sick too , been picked up all the time ,having 

people messing about with me, don't you just hate it,when

animals are exploited for money...
