Chartered Bank House, New Landmark in Phuket Town, to Open Next Month

Phuket – The Standard Chartered Bank House renovation in Phuket town is now 85 percent completed. It is expected to be opened as a new landmark for tourism next month, the Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew told the Phuket Express.


The Sino-Portuguese house is where the Standard Chartered Bank managers lived in the past. The house is located on the Damrong Road in Talad Yai, Mueang Phuket.

 

The house has been renovated to be a new landmark for tourism which tourists can visit. The total renovation budget is 28 million baht.
