Vehicle Tax Renewal to Be Suspended for Traffic Violators Who Fail to Pay Fine

BANGKOK, (TNA) – The Royal Thai Police joins hand with the Land Transport Department to link information on police-issued traffic tickets in order to suspend vehicle tax renewal of violators who fail to pay fine from traffic tickets.

Covid cases drop another 30% with only 4% of Chinese arrivals testing positive

“Only 10 cases being Chinese nationals, accounting for 4% of all Chinese arrivals.”

 

The Covid-19 situation in Thailand is showing a steady improvement, with a decline of 30% in hospital admissions and fatalities. According to the Department of Disease Control, the average number of hospital admissions and deaths fell to 90 and six respectively between 15th January and 21st January.

Bangkok Airways announces suspension of flights to Hat Yai, Da Nang in Vietnam

Bangkok Airways has announced the temporary halting of two of its services, suspending flights to Hat Yai in southern Thailand and Da Nang in central Vietnam. The service to Hat Yai will be suspended from March 1, while flights to Da Nang will be suspended from May 1.

Nonetheless, certains areas in the country remain afflicted by considerable air pollution. One such location is Hot district in Chiang Mai province where the AQI reading has reached an alarming figure of 287.
