You'd be wrong.

You're clearly extremely biased.

Simply objectively he is highly likely to win just for being the incumbent!

On this we can agree. Being the incumbent is a powerful advantage. Democrats will have to judge whether or not it is enough of an advantage to gamble on. At the moment the answer seems to be "no". A reluctant no, but no nonetheless.  Probably the only thing keeping them from being more vocal is the doomsday scenario of having to back Kamala Harris as the presumptive nominee.

Isn't it ironic? The President can't string two words together, and the Vice can but they make no sense.

Why did Biden choose Kamala Harris to be vice president?

What were her qualities ?

People seem confused.

Most democrats would be happy to nominate another candidate.

But Biden is running and he won't face real opposition for the nomination.

So those same democrats will be happy to back Biden against any Republican in the general.

Except Larry Hogan. He would get a lot of more conservative democrats.

But the trumpist party is too stupid to pick someone who can win.

Occasional gaffes.....now that's a hoot...????

30,000 plus lies in 4 years.

Analysis by Glenn Kessler, Salvador Rizzo and  Meg Kelly
January 24, 2021 at 3:00 a.m. EST

When The Washington Post Fact Checker team first started cataloguing President Donald Trump’s false or misleading claims, we recorded 492 suspect claims in the first 100 days of his presidency. On Nov. 2 alone, the day before the 2020 vote, Trump made 503 false or misleading claims as he barnstormed across the country in a desperate effort to win reelection.

Now that is not a hoot but rather sad.

He's fired up and ready.

We don't know who the Republicans will nominate but I agree DeSantis is bad news.

My political dream is if they can cook up a plan to have Harris resign from the ticket. She's very unpopular and people will care a lot about the VP pick because of Biden's age. He can't otherwise dump her. Perhaps promise her a Supreme Court nomination?

I believe there would be a zero percent chance of Biden being re-elected. He is not a bad president. Just not remarkable and way, way too old. Harris is a disaster. Few like her and she seems to have been in way over her head, from the beginning.

Zero percent?

That's absurd.

Of course Trump would be the easiest to beat.

He's 4 years older than his rival. That's not huge. He rides a bicycle daily. He rival rides a golf cart and looks like he's one big mac and a diet coke away from a heart attack. He nearly died of covid when he had it. Biden beat Trump very, very handsomely in the last election. Trump's backers have largely evaporated and he's gotten boring. The chance that Trump beats Biden in 2024 is near zero. Trump wouldn't stand any chance if the Dems stand a younger and more dynamic candidate.

Furthermore, Trump supports Putin. Game over.

Here we go with NABAT again!  Doesn't it get a bit tiring?   If the best thing you can say about Biden is "well, at least he isn't quite as awful as the previous guy", then you really are damning him with faint praise.

She has the Magic Melanin Forcefield! With the optional Super XX Chromosone attachment.

And he promised James Clyburn in return for Clyburn rescuing Biden's faltering campaign in the 2020 Democratic primaries.

Trump is not even a factor anymore. He has erased himself from contention, and continues to shoot himself in the foot by demonstrating his 13 year old juvenile maturity. Most previous Trump supporters I know despise the man.

It would be old man Joe, vs. a much younger GOP frontrunner.

Trump is still a factor.

All he needs is about 30 percent of the republican vote which is about the size of his super maga base to win the nomination in a multi candidate field like last time. That is what's shaping up. He's favored to win the nomination unless prison gets him first.

Doctors used to say smoking does not give you lung cancer, depends who is paying them. Does any Biden supporter really think a Dr could ever say he's not fit for the job?

Really?  When did doctors, or more important, the medical establishment say that smoking does not increase the risk of lung cancer?

Practicing physicians are not scientists.  They do not conduct research.  Researchers were quick to find the link between lung cancer and smoking.  I remember the advertisements well.  I also remember that they only recommend a particular brand and they were paid for it.  As I recall, they usually said "If you smoke...."

Any credible physician is going to tell the truth or say nothing at all.  It's a pretty routine job of giving physicals for employment.

In the 1950s .

Perhaps responsible doctors in the 1950's were saying there was no evidence that smoking caused cancer.  Of course there was no evidence because no studies had been done.  Few if any doctors definitely stated that smoking did not cause cancer.  However doctors have suspected for at least 100 years that smoking wasn't healthy.  I recall a scientific article from the 1920's hypothesizing that lower male life expectancy was in part due to men being more likely to smoke.

Doctors never have known everything and never will.  However they know a lot more now than they used to, and are better able to make judgements regarding health than people who like to speculate.

And so, what?

And so all the BS about her supposed "qualifications" is nonsense.  Which leads us to the current situation- Democrats want to jettison Biden for health/cognitive issues but they can't.  It would leave them in the uncomfortable position of having to jettison VP Harris as well, which for the aforementioned reasons could be political suicide.

  Nonsense.

Others have already listed the VP’s qualifications, one of which must be ‘get the vote out’, that obviously worked.

Your unqualified imaginations of the current situation are just that.

“Biden healthy, vigorous and fit for job, says doctor”

Nobody is questioning Biden's physical health. He is doing very well for 80 years old. It is his mental decline that is the elephant in the room. And also conspicuously absent from the medical report.

As for Harris, more than 70% of democrats polled chose SOMEONE ELSE to lead the ticket if Biden doesn't run.  She also manages to trail Biden in overall approval rating by 4%, 43 to 39. That takes some doing.
