British Police say domestic abuser may be in Thailand

This guy was known to be in Pattaya until at least 3 weeks ago and may still be there. Expect to see pictures of his arrest.

Thanks. An interesting read. No mention of stopping or detaining fugitives from leaving, but rather a tool to detect those incoming or flag up those foreigners who have overstayed visas.

It states information will be 'of use' to police. Having an outstanding arrest warrant doesn't stop anyone leaving (or entering) the UK. Border Force are not police.

Or even granting bail [a more common approach with most everything these days] if the authorities are concerned with the individual to take flight. Why do they authorize/offer bail situations for what might be considered heinous crimes?
