I normally use Agoda or Booking .com but I do not like to give my card details on-line so I often look for hotels that say pay at the hotel . However a pal told me that he used to do the same until one time his booking was not honoured as the hotel was full after taking bookings that were made directly with the hotel . All this despite the fact that he had made the booking via Agoda . Have also heard of people booking through above agents , paid on-line but once again the hotel was full and the hotel said to contact your agency . Don't know the outcome . 

Have you ever met a similar problem with booking hotels in Thailand ? Do you book direct with the hotel ?

 

I always book with the Hotel direct. Have had no problems.
