Blair says current net zero policies 'doomed to fail'
So when did these rolling power cuts take place? Yes, in January they came close due to an interconnector outage, Last time i remember one was the 1970s! Obviously some power cuts do occur due to storm damage and maintenance. Nothing to do with renewable power. i agree that maybe shutting down the last coal fired station was a bit premature, UK does need to put some energy storage in place; the technology is there, just to tight to fork out the money for it. Gas is what keeps electricity prices high - the sooner we can get rid of it for electricity generation, those electric bills will come down. -

The downhill trajectory of Chiang Mai immigration
There was no A/c at Promenada where you had to wait on seats ,if you could get one ,I was coming early to get a ticket so I could get an Extension that day as I said that early in the morning there were Burmese sitters already there , I have been doing various extensions ,in Chiang Mai since 1987 and I can say this is the best it's ever been..period. Yes they need a bigger building ,there are several Government departments on the same road with much bigger plots ,and less going on in them ,but I suppose they won't give up their fiefdoms for a smaller plot ,they would lose face , so it is what it is ,and I am very happy with it.as I say did my retirement extension last month , took half an hour ,no agent always do by myself ,whats to complain about.... regards Worgeordie regards Worgeordie
