Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) medication availability
I take the Tamsulosin .4 mg (I believe this is what you are referring to). It costs 6x more in Thailand, so I order a one year supply in the US and bring it back with me on my annual US trip. It is a non-narcotic and is not on any list of meds customs is looking for. I just put it in my checked luggage and go through the "nothing to declare" aisle at Swampy. As it doesn't require a perscription to purchase in Thailand, I don't believe it would be a problem to bring it in. -

Trump lost the respect of veterans – including me. He's a risk to our democracy.
It too boggles my mind that anyone can vote for such a rotten human being. Every time a Trump supporter speaks about Trump, I can't help but just tune out because what comes out of their mouth is always complete nonsense. And think about this: If Trump does manage to win this election, American parents can teach their kids..."Hey, if you want to be President, just lie, lie, and lie non stop!" -

Thunderstorms forecast for 40 provinces with Bangkok hardest hit
The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) forecasts thunderstorms for 40 provinces tomorrow, with Bangkok expected to be the hardest hit at 70%. The southern region is on alert for potential flooding, while the upper part of Thailand will experience cool weather in the morning. TMD issued a 24-hour weather forecast, stating that a high-pressure system or cool air mass is currently weakly covering the upper northern and northeastern regions of Thailand. This condition will result in cool mornings in these areas. Meanwhile, an easterly wind is bringing moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, affecting the lower northeastern, central, Bangkok and its vicinity, and eastern regions. This weather pattern will cause heavy rain in some areas of the lower central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the eastern region. Residents in the upper part of Thailand are advised to take care of their health due to changing weather conditions. TMD has also provided a 10-day weather forecast, indicating the transition from the rainy to the cold season with thunderstorms and cool weather. The Department of Mineral Resources has named 14 provinces in the central and southern regions at risk of landslides and flash floods from tomorrow to October 12 The monsoon trough passing through the upper southern region is causing heavy rainfall in some areas of the south. Residents in these areas should be cautious of heavy and accumulated rainfall, which could lead to sudden flooding and flash floods, especially in foothills near waterways and low-lying areas. Additionally, the seas in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will have weak winds, with waves below 1 metre high, but more than 1 to 2 metres high in areas with thunderstorms. Mariners are advised to avoid sailing in thunderstorm areas. Weather forecast The northern region will have cool mornings in the upper part, with thunderstorms in 30% of the area, mostly in Chiang Mai, Lampang, Lamphun, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun. The lowest temperature will be 22 to 24°C, and the highest will be 32 to 35°C, with easterly winds at 10 to 15 kilometres per hour. The northeastern region will also have cool mornings in the upper part, with thunderstorms in 10% of the area, mostly in Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, and Si Sa Ket. The lowest temperature will be 22 to 25°C, and the highest will be 32 to 34°C, with easterly winds at 10 to 25 kilometres per hour. The lowest temperature will be 23 to 26°C, and the highest will be 31 to 34°C, with easterly winds at 10 to 30 kilometres per hour. The sea will have waves below 1 metre high, and more than 2 metres high in thunderstorm areas. The southern region (eastern coast) will have thunderstorms in 70% of the area, with heavy to very heavy rain in some places, mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. The lowest temperature will be 22 to 24°C, and the highest will be 31 to 35°C, with variable winds at 10 to 30 kilometres per hour. The sea will have waves below 1 metre high and more than 2 metres high in thunderstorm areas. Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
As the video I posted shows, there are two large ammo depots in the vicinity of Moscow. A successful drone attack on one, or both, of them would really send a message to Russia. No way for Putin to hide that one from the Muscovites when the fires and explosions are visible and audible from the city. -

EV firms seek easing of manufacturing conditions Automakers who were granted incentives under the EV3.0 scheme are required to assemble EVs locally from 2024 and meet production targets set by the government. "At least eight Chinese EV makers are waiting to have talks with the government. They are worried about the oversupply of EVs in the market," said Surapong Paisitpatanapong, vice-chairman of the FTI and spokesman for the federation's Automotive Industry Club. https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/motoring/2879412/ev-firms-seek-easing-of- The Excise Department has estimated that about 185,029 EVs will be imported under the EV3.0 policy. Of these, 84,195 EVs were imported in 2022-2023, 66,448 in 2024, and 34,386 will be imported in 2025. The top five companies expected to import the most EVs between 2022 and 2025 are: Rever Automotive (77,247 units), Neta Auto (40,837), MG Sales (27,186), Great Wall Motor Manufacturing (24,225), and EV Primus (8,493). The policy offers import tax exemption for EV makers as well as other subsidies, but mandates them to produce the cars locally at a ratio of 1:1 to those imported in 2024 (importing 1 EV for every 1 locally produced EV) and a 1:1.5 ratio for cars imported in 2025 (importing 1 EV for every 1.5 locally produced EVs). “It is estimated that by 2025 EV makers will need to produce 180,000 units to offset the imports,” EVAT president Krisda Utamote said on Wednesday. “With the low purchasing power in the Thai market, automakers will need to seek out secondary markets to distribute their products or risk suffering losses from oversupply. https://www.nationthailand.com/business/automobile/40039578 My understanding is that for vehicles imported in 2022,2023 and 2024 150,643 need to be locally built in 2024 using a ratio of 1:1 if they number aren't met they can carry over the unbuilt quota into 2025 but the ratio changes to 1 EV imported for every 1.5 locally produced EVs -
