Not a real game, mate that's a bit harsh. It's not as tough as you poor young-uns have it but it's not Tiddlywinks. You'll probably have to Google that expression ????

C'mon mate, I've been playing this since I was a kid

There is no such right.  They request permission to stay which may or may not be granted.

If requirements are met when is it not granted.

You make it sound that the application goes to the parole board.

Always been a painless, care free process with me, but then, I simply provide the info requested.  Not rocket science.

A smooth & simple process.  Can't imagine it being much easier.  Prove where you live, and your income.   If that's too complicated, stay away.

Agree. However.....

My last extension retirement at CW young io clerk wanted to see one year bank statement as I had couple of months with no transactions (I use dedicated bank account).

Never required previously.

So they do like to play games.

Meeting requirements is all that's needed but there will be some who can't or won't meet them.

The OP has already agreed he used the wrong terminology when he said it was a right.

Those "some" can go home.

Which is why there's a visa application/approval process.

Maybe the OP will get the message?

I don't know why you're quoting me along with D Jack.

I don't approve of the system or want people to be forced to go "home"(wherever that is). I was merely trying to explain why "I could get a visa so they should let me in anyway" is a logically flawed argument.

Okay, call this the ability, opportunity, whatever. The thing is, people over 50 don't need to "game" the system, as we younger folks do. ????

Rightly so, as "we older folks" are respectable.

Even though I had the feeling that the OP was worried about a "profiling" of sex tourists.
