Whatever my opinion on the election, that's in the past and is irrelevant now.

Not irrelevant to him, he will never let it go, of current relevance is the $130,000 that Cohen paid to Stormy Daniels on Trumps behalf!

It's the rampant desire to physically destroy Trump that causes some of us to support Trump against such undemocratic attitudes.

It's also what brings out Democrat voters in huge numbers! The more BS he sprouts the more he buries himself!

Seriously?  In spite of all the recounts, audits, and court cases that determined the election results were fair and legitimate, you think it's acceptable to storm the Capitol to prevent the certification of the election?

So in your mind it's democratic to ignore all rules and logic, declare you don't believe the clear election results and overthrow the government.  That's not democracy, it's anarchy.

At the time, they thought that there had been fraud in the election and they were demonstrating  to uphold the democratic process .

There were widespread allegations of fraudulent activity and that is what they were protesting about

Why did they think there had been fraud?  gee could it be because trump and the right wing media told lie after lie after lie to mislead the kool aide cult into fomenting a coup attempt?  If they wanted to uphold the democratic process why do 70% of republicans to this day continue to support the BIG LIE when anyone with an IQ in triple digits knows it is all BS?

I seem to recall that they questioned the unusual amount of votes sent in by post and all voting for the same person
