Far right laments Tucker Carlson’s ouster and loss of its shot at the mainstream

While Fox's number were down...

Unsurprisingly, Fox News ratings suffered Monday night without the channel’s most watched host.

After the surprise of Fox News and Tucker Carlson “agree[ing] to part ways” on Monday, the network’s 8 p.m. hour had a significantly smaller audience Monday night. The debut of Fox News Tonight, hosted by Brian Kilmeade (the first in a series of rotating hosts), pulled in just under 2.6 million viewers — about 21 percent below the average for Tucker Carlson Tonight (3.3 million viewers) over the past eight Mondays.

Fox News Tonight also took a hit in the key news demographic of adults 25-54: Its 0.24 rating was 37 percent lower than the 0.38 Carlson averaged over the prior eight Monday shows.

...there are plenty of right-wing outlets available to spread the Gospel.

OANN and Newsmax are getting significant bumps.

Yes, your humility is on display in nearly every post.

So you, and presumably Carlson, are "just asking questions"?

Not a question of humility , but of judgement.  And there is nothing wrong with asking questions.  Why should the President and his party fear answering very simple and valid questions about where they are spending America's treasure?  Seems the neocons have switched parties.

Questioning the need for an undeclared war, and asking for an accounting of the billions poured into it by American taxpayers, does not a Putin apologist make.  It makes a patriot IMHO.

Which may well have been the case if the GOP and it's most ardent base were even vaguely consistent in that opinion. Unfortunately history destroys that idea.

I wonder what kind of dirt Fox has amassed on Tucker? I suspect it's juicier than just some texts mocking management.

"Eight sources."!!! Message received.

Fox Has a Secret ‘Oppo File’ to Keep Tucker Carlson in Check, Sources Say

FOX NEWS EXECUTIVES have in their possession a dossier of alleged dirt on Tucker Carlson should he attack the network in the wake of his departure, eight sources at and close to the network tell Rolling Stone.

When Fox announced Carlson’s departure on Monday, the network presented the separation as amicable. But according to one former on-air Fox personality, the anchor and some of the channel’s top executives are parting ways on “the worst” and “messiest possible terms.” Indeed, in private communications released last month as part of the Dominion-Fox lawsuit, the now-fired Fox host gossiped that one such exec “hates us,” claiming she was covertly working against him and other hosts.

But if Carlson attempts to torch the network he’s leaving, Fox is prepared, the sources say.

Good article in NYMag about how Fox grooms and disposes of their talent as ruthlessly as Asian boybands.

Said Roger Ailes after assembling the original The Five, "You're not people, you're types, and there's 100 replacements behind you".

So who's the next smarmy militia-lover to fill the 8 PM slot? Jesse Waters isn't up to it. The poor dupe from their morning show got a hail of abuse.

And he can't be a uni-party globalist. Problem: They're everywhere.

The whole Putin smear is just a leftover from 2016, when the left tried so desperately (and innacurately) to tie Putin and Trump together.   Somehow though, there was no invasion of Ukraine on Trump's watch, in spite of his supposed support for Russia...

Carlson wasn’t questioning Putin’s need for an ‘undeclared war’ was he.

He was in lock step with Putin and his propaganda.
