webfact Posted May 5, 2023 Author Posted May 5, 2023 Twist in Thai cyanide serial killer case: Actress and nurses investigated for buying same poison as killer by Petch Petpailin Photo via Instagram icepreechaya There has been another twist in the Thai cyanide serial killer case. Not only has the serial killer’s husband been charged with aiding and abetting her crimes and released on bail but the Royal Thai Police (RTP) is investigating the purchase of some cyanide by a famous Thai actress and 10 nurses, who reportedly bought the poison from the same lot number as the killer. Sararat “Am” Rangsiwuthaporn, the Thai cyanide serial killer, has been charged with the murder of 10 of the 14 victims so far. The RTP has finished gathering evidence in the other four cases and it is reported that Am will be charged for those as well. One case remains unresolved, the mysterious death of a 37 year old Thai woman named Monthathip “Sai” Khao-in. Sai’s mother filed a complaint with the police that her daughter came back from abroad and died after a meeting with Am. The case is under the responsibility of Thong Lor Police Station. Am’s ex-husband, Police Lieutenant Colonel Withun “Off” Rangsiwuthaporn, was found to be supporting his ex-wife in her criminal actions and was arrested on three charges, including misappropriation, fraud, and forgery of documents. The Nakhon Pathom Criminal Court temporarily released Off on bail for 100,000 baht yesterday. Off insisted to the court that he was not involved in the murders but confessed he knew about the assets and money. Off has to wear an electronic monitoring (EM) tag. According to the Daily News, Off visited Am at the Central Woman Correctional Institution in Bangkok with the RTP Deputy Commissioner Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn to convince his ex-wife to admit to her actions and confess everything to the police. Big Joke also reported to the media yesterday that officers discovered 10 nurses and a famous Thai actress bought cyanide from the same lot number as Am. They have been summoned for questioning on Monday, May 8 to answer questions about their actions. snoop1130 Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Actress to be questioned by Thai police over her purchase of cyanide Preechaya Pongthananikorn (Ice) Police will summon an actress for questioning next Monday, after it was discovered that she had bought cyanide from the same lot as that obtained by a serial murder suspect. The mother of the actress, who was identified police as Preechaya Pongthananikorn, reportedly told the police that the actress bought the cyanide online on April 25th for about 3,000 baht and the chemical was delivered two days later. She insisted that the cyanide was intended for poisoning reptiles, such as cobras and monitor lizards, in the back yard of their house, adding that some of the reptiles had attacked their dogs. The 100 people are the ones who bought out of the same batch as Aem Cyanide, so we have no idea now as to how much cyanide is sold and to whom.

The 100 people are the ones who bought out of the same batch as Aem Cyanide, so we have no idea now as to how much cyanide is sold and to whom. Sodium Cyanide has many legal uses, look it up on Wikipedia. It is not a restricted chemical, so everyone can buy it online. There are 100 people of a population of 70 million that have bought, and other than the actrice, who already explained what she intended to use it for, no other names have been made public. So other than your conspiracy loving self, what evidence do you have that the other 99 are just every day people, and not businesses who had a legal purpose for it? 1
snoop1130 Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Thai actress insists she was unaware that possessing cyanide without a permit is illegal Actress Preechaya Pongthananikorn has offered a public apology for ordering cyanide online to poison snakes and monitor lizards in the backyard of her house, not knowing that it is illegal to possess the lethal chemical without a permit. In her interview during the popular TV talk show “Hone Krasae”, together with her mother, the actress wept as she apologised for her mistake. She said that one day, while watching a TV news program, she and her Swiss boyfriend had argued about cyanide, as her boyfriend said that possessing the lethal chemical is illegal in Switzerland, while she insisted that it can be bought online in Thailand. Preechaya said that, on April 25th, she ordered potassium cyanide online and paid 3,132 baht for it, adding that she thought she might have been cheated. Two days later, however, the chemical was delivered by parcel to her house. It's not her job to know all restricted substances in Thailand. It's the seller's obligation to check if she has the relevant permits to own the chemical. 2
SeaBee Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Incidentally, monitor lizards are a protected species in Thailand so that's another layer of illegality there.
