Recommendation for translator in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

I need to get my US affidavit translated and approved by the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Can anyone recommend a good translation service in Bangkok? Preferably a good one in the MFA area?

They have them at the MFA building itself...  (they’ll take an hour or two to translate and you can then pickup and submit to MFA / cost is about 300 baht, I can’t quite remember but I think you also have to pay for the MFA verification and postage can’t remember how much)

Alternatively...   there are translation services near Ploernchit BTS who’ll do everything for you, translate and submit to MFA etc  these usually cost about 900 baht if I remember correctly (that price is from about 12 years ago), this means you don't need to go to MFA yourself etc so may offer greater confidence but it may take more time than getting things done yourself.

I think you have to book appointments at the MFA now. It used to be walk in but I think it's changed to online bookings now
