Two People and Pet Dog Dead After Pickup Truck Driver Crashes into Electric Company Worker in Phuket

Rassada – Two people have been pronounced dead after a pickup truck crashed into an electric authority staffer who was working with cables. A pet dog that was walking nearby was killed as well.


Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 11:25 A.M. on Friday (May 19th) on the Thep Krasattri Road in Rassada, Mueang Phuket. They and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck on the road.

 

One person who was an electric cable staffer walking near a power pole was pronounced deceased at the scene. A driver who was stuck inside the pickup truck sustained severe injuries and was later pronounced dead.
