Featured Replies

Please recommend some stores where belt drive bicycles are available.image.jpeg.24a434c23ae65ded28e7d49a57eecaad.jpeg

Never heard of them, let alone seen them advertised in TH.

Good Luck

Bok Bok Bike in Bangkok were stocking belt drives about a year ago.

Also Canyon have a few belt drive models.

You can find ‘Bok Bok Bike’ on Facebook.

I really don't think its a good idea as maintenance is really tough and expensive on those things.

A while ago I say on Youtube that they need less maintenance and believe it is true.....But I would double check if the belt drive are all the same or if there are different types.

The best-known belt drive is known as the Gates belt drive, and they are regarded as very low-maintenance and long-lasting.

I would think the bigger problem would come with the internal gear hub that you need to replace the normal gear system, derailleur etc.

There are plenty of those (Shimano Alfine, Rohloff Speedhub, Enviolo etc) but they're not cheap, and if they need maintenance, that's going to be a real problem.
