Asp Viper

Featured Replies

I was watching a nature show about different types of vipers, dubbed over in Thai. The speaker slowed to concentrate when describing the Asp Viper, but did a good job with pronunciation. I tried it on a few Thai friends. It turns out some native speakers find the Asp Viper quite a challenging name to pronounce.

Mummy one wonders how many Westerners would fair with pronunciations not in their native tongue.

Why the feelings of desperation and failure over a little light-hearted humor? The Pub is not limited to topics about Thailand. Keep trying, maybe you'll figure it out.
