A customer in China wanted to buy two machines, price amounting to close to US$500,000. He shipped the machines there and when he met the customer to finalize the deal, the customer presented a suitcase with the $500K in cash. He went through about 6 months of bureaucratic hell trying to get the money out of China. This was more than 10 years ago.
sambum Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Not on overstay then? I thought it was only overstayers that were a threat to the security and safety of visitors to the country? At least so it seems by the number of posts and people arrested recently for overstay offences! ????
koolkarl Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Hope the Thais give the Australians 10 years hard time in a nice Thai jail.

Popular Post Muzzique Posted June 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2023 Seems a solid secure financial transaction process Bank → Chair → Crypto Exchange I see no risks here. 2 hours ago, webfact said: ...... he posted online that he wanted to buy digital money I always do that when I have money to invest. Just explain to everyone online you have piles of cash and you want to buy Crypto then watch the great offers come flooding in. Who needs a financial advisor when you can buy NIGERIUM and SCAMCOIN directly from the people minting them. It's a no brainer. Also works for trying to find a young girlfriend who looks like a model.. Mine got stuck in the airport with huge airport taxes to pay, then was about to catch a flight but was hospitalised with 2 failed kidneys. I am funding her ongoing dialysis and her family keep losing a buffalo every couple of weeks. But at least she loves me ???? 4

ignore it Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Strikes me as a bit quick even for an efficient police force even without international co-operation.

BestB Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 The smart Ozzies are screwed, this is grand theft by Thai law, could easily get 12 years each, unless they get a really good lawyer to make a plead deal, even with pleading guilty and having sentence halved, they still both could be looking at a few years 1

Combined with a certain ignorance? Though even in the US it's possible to have cases of fraud and corruption in otherwise reliable institutions (like a title insurance company, but rare). But these continuing scam cases here in LOS seem to be by far largely the former. yes , if we saw the rate of exchange i bet it was very good for the victim thus his greed blinded him.... 1
AustinRacing Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 They must’ve partied a lot after the theft. Check the carpet burns on he knees.
