think would be advisable along with tm 47

An agent I contacted messaged me 'not needed'. She refused to tell me the price for such a service, though.

If you are living in Bangkok and your current permission to stay was issued in Bangkok, you will need to do your first 90 Day Report in person in Bangkok.

If you have a rental contract for the address you are living at in Bangkok, you might be able to complete a TM30 yourself as "possessor" of the property, however your landlady is in breach of Thai law in refusing to / failing to complete a TM30 within 24 hours of your arrival, but you will be the one fined as you are the one that needs to do a 90 day report.

If you have an address in Pattaya/Jomtien and a TM30 submitted to Pattaya/Jomtien to that effect (possibly by a hotel you have relocated to maybe only for a few days) you will only need a TM47.

The 'laugh' emoticon on that fully correct post is totally inappropriate.

I used Asia Visa travel on Suk Soi 24, approx 3 minutes away from Phrom Phong BTS Station to get my 1st TM30, IIRC the cost was 1,500baht as this included the "Fine" despite the fact that I had only arrived that morning.

At Jomtien IO I've needed a TM30 for every interaction (1st 90 Day Report after moving here from Bangkok, re-entry permit & extension + re-entry permit done via Maneerat, Certificate of Residency done myself)

Jomtien don't open your mouth and open a can of worms.

Go to Soi 5, outside first tent on right 90 day report give them your passport say nothing.  You well be given a number and time to wait.

Walk across the lot and have a nice breakfast return to pick up.

The 90 day report in my opinion is completely redundant and a waste of everybody’s time. At Jomtien immigration you could do it by sending a child to drop off your passport and pick it up. Big joke.

Everybody would agree with you, however it is a requirement, do it online and save yourself the time and effort of bothering to go there.
