bamnutsak Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 (edited) I see some are claiming that these are actors portraying policemen, and/or policemen working as actors portraying policemen. The reaction from the brass seems to be dissatisfaction with Pol.Lt.Gen. Commander of the Provincial Police Region 7 and Pol.Lt.Gen. Phairot Khumphai, Commander of the Provincial Police in Chanburi Province. As with many things here, many different "stories". I guess he tried to get this done in Kanchanburi, but the local police commanders declined. Edited June 20, 2023 by bamnutsak

Crash999 Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 This guy is insufferable. And it’s obviously a rip-off of Mr. Beast. But if he paid for them then who cares. No different than Thai bigwigs paying for police escorts on the highway.
sqwakvfr Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 On this one I can't blame old Nate. In many parts of the world Police and Fire are hired to be in tv shows, movies and even silly youtube vdieos. It is up to the chief or the commanding officer to decide if any project is appropriate or not? I wonder how much the pay was?
Popular Post klauskunkel Posted June 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 20, 2023 Look at it like this: 50 RTPs were not extorting people for at least an hour. For that alone, well done Nate. 3

IndomitableSpirit Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Be respectful to the OAPs here, it would be really hard for them to grasp the concept of today's craziness. I'm an early millennial, sometimes I do get annoyed with these content creators not because of jealousy, but they are seriously IQ-dropping idiots!???? Nate is crazy but the police should have known better, it's not like he put a gun on their heads. 1
kwak250 Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 I can't stand him but he is very popular. He has organised Thai fight which is good and each time I want to see someone knock him out. He's the type of annoying twa7 that would have been put in bin at school.
Surasak Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 An accurate description in full on English. What a PLONKER!
Popular Post webfact Posted June 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 20, 2023 Kanchanaburi police chief denies link to viral video with YouTuber My Mate Nate by Petch Petpailin Photo via YouTube/ My Mate Nate The Commander of the Kanchanaburi Provincial Police Office vehemently denied any involvement of his police officers in the video featuring the American YouTuber, Nathan Bartling, also known as My Mate Nate. The viral video, created by Bartling, showcased him, his team members, and 50 individuals dressed as police officers engaging in a hide-and-seek game at an abandoned shopping mall. While many viewers found the video thrilling, numerous comments criticized Bartling for inappropriately involving the police. The Royal Thai Police (RTP) launched a thorough investigation into the viral video and determined that it was filmed at an abandoned shopping mall in the Tha Makham sub-district, Mueang district, within Kanchanaburi province. The individuals appearing as police officers in the video were reportedly affiliated with the Kanchanaburi Provincial Police Office. Nevertheless, the commanding officer of the police station, Pairoj Kumphai, staunchly maintained that his team thoroughly investigated the matter and found no evidence of any officers from the province participating in the video. According to Pairoj, the relevant departments are currently collaborating to identify the individuals seen in the footage. Popular Post bamnutsak Posted June 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 20, 2023 Pretty soon we'll be told that this didn't happen. Blame it on AI or ChatGPT. Yes, they were real policeman, working as actors portraying real policemen. You would think they'd come up up with a believable statement. Just admit somebody messed up, and that it won't happen again. 1 2
