What he was doing might be considered wierd by some. But, it was so utterly harmless. Is live streaming illegal in Thailand, or only specific content? What kind of content? What is pornographic, what is art? Ever been to a museum? Lot's or 'pornographic' art can be seen. 

 

The real problem is the hotel manager's ego and not the content or distribution platform. That's why this dude will be scotch free in a heart beat. So now whenever we annoy a local, we get the police called on us. Great

He had even no right to broadcast the managers face to be exact. This special law is since 2022 in place and protects people.

 

Knowing the history of “Ice poseidon” and his gang I would say he deserves a penalty.

 

He even has started streaming again after the incident (whereby he was told to stop it) and sees everything as a “fun content” to get donations from his audience which actually has to be taxed. 

 

To earn money from this work is also against his visa type in my opinion.

Right now he must wait for his court which could take months.
