webfact
Police in Samut Prakan, Thailand, received a report of an assault on an elderly woman, Sawalak, aged 67. The incident took place in Soi Wat Dan Samrong 48, where Sawalak was found bleeding profusely from her head. CCTV footage revealed a man in a yellow shirt assaulting her with a wooden stick, causing her to collapse, reported Sanook. Sawalak, who recognised her assailant, stated that the dispute began over his frequent thefts from her home, specifically, the recent theft of mangoes which she planned to sell. This latest assault happened after she confronted him over the mango theft, leading to him lashing out with a piece of wood. An investigation is underway while Sawalak recuperates at Samut Prakan Hospital. Local witnesses, as well as the victim, have been urged to report any further information to the authorities. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-07-17 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Who said that she hadn't been to them before? Possibly a history of the police doing **** all about previous reports. You are new here, right? yeah, you could say that. but even in western countries, police won't always bother with petty theft. i knew a guy who had a bakery and there was common petty theft and police wouldn't bother with it. so i guess my comment was not well thought out. 1

Problem was that he was not normal people..... He should be castrated because men don't beat elderly women.

I know a case where someone was angry because the neighbor is mowing the lawn on Sunday which is not allowed, but the police need an hour to come, so he is finished meanwhile and there is no "crime" anymore. I think that speaking together approach is much more reasonable

But maybe he used drugs.....

No it was not, but if you say the rest of the world same. Hell yeah! I am on your side. Unfortunately this is the guys that are paid to help. On the other hand crime has been topping the charts. Not sure any country is ready to tackle it.

Unfortunately, if you point out a Thai person's wrong-doings (even if you are the victim and they are completely at fault), they won't get in any trouble and will likely attack you. I'm surprised she didn't know this.
Deserted
Well, if someone has stolen some mango, you should beat them around the head with a stick shouldn't you?
